How To Install TOrkutter

TOrkutter has become the most liked and the most widely-used software fr Orkut today. However, some people are facing difficulties in its installation. We recieve several mails everyday from people seeking help in the installation of our software. Hence, we thought of posting this entry which would ensure full help for those who need it while installing TOrkutter.

Since our software is still in its BETA stage, we do not release a proper exucutable setup file. The application is uploaded as a Zip file that can be used in the following way.

Step 1:

Go to our Download Centre and download the file from any of the several mirrors given there. Save the file "TOrkutter.zip" to any suitable location (we'll save it on the desktop in this example).

Step 2:

Extract all the files in the Zip file using any Unzipping softwares (e.g. WinZip, WinRAR or even just Windows Compressed Folder Wizard) to any suitable location of your choice (we'll do it on the desktop in this example). A new folder should now appear named TOrkutter.

Step 3:

Open the newly extracted Folder. You should be able to see some files & folders in it along with a setup file (SEE figure below). Run the Setup fle and follow the installation instructions that follow.

Step 4:

Once you've successfully installed TOrkutter, you can delete this folder and the installation files.

Congrats! your done with the installation of the revolutionary tool - TOrkutter

Minor Update in TOrkutter BETA 3

Due to a Sudden Server Breakdown, we had to launch a minor update for TOrkutter. Kindly download the latest version to enjoy the fully featured TOrkutter. All functions that had stopped working due to the Crashed Server have been restored and are working perfectly fine.

Also, we have made an attempt to hire a quality and high potential Server this time to avoid similar breakdowns in future. We understand that the extraordinary features of TOrkutter has made it very popular among masses. That's why we are facing Server issues frequently. However, we are making provisions to avoid such problems in future and also provide suitable backup in case of such events.

TOrkutter records 200 plus downloads in a day.

We are hereby, glad to announce another feather in our cap. The 3rd BETA version of TOrkutter has completed a record 207 downloads in the first 24 hours of being released. Finally the wait is over. The must awaited, 3rd BETA version of TOrkutter is here. The major updates include:

Peep into BETA 3: Part 4

We bring to you, yet another feature of the new TOrkutter BETA 3 version.

Now you wouldn't have to storm your brain in those typical and unfriendly formatting of Orkut. Just sit back and format your text with easy menus and simple shortcuts, as simple as a conventional text editor. And we'll do the messy task for you. Whats more? you can choose to automatically pop up the editor as and where you want.

Wait! the treat is not over. You can also add a custom signature to your scraps/posts, just by a single click. Phew! this is a lot more, only in the TOrkutter BETA 3 version. The version is expected to be officially launched within this week. Keep drooling till then. Ciaos.

Bad Bad Server - No Donuts for TOrkutter

Unfortunately, due to certain server issues, earlier versions of TOrkutter have stopped functioning. We apologise for the inconvenience caused. However, we have arranged for a new server and our TOrkutter, the latest BETA 3 version is under testing. We hope to launch it within this week. Please note that due to the dead server, the previous versions will not auto-update themselves. Hence, you are requested to please update it manually.

We deeply regret the problem with our server and are trying our best to avoid similar issues in future. To ensure this, we have gone for a better and more reliable server with relevant backup facilities. We expect your encouragement of our work that would help us to give you quality services in future.

Showdown or just a Trailor ?

Chaos rolled in and filled the entire Orkut world with a mixed feeling of anger and melancholy when people found their favourite flooding scripts, softwares and other automated utilities rendered useless. As we had notified through our earlier post, Orkut had modified its scrapping code. However, to the utter surprise of every individual, the Orkut staff has reinstated the same old code once again today. All scripts and softwares are working normally, as before. All changed are rolled back and the same good old Orkut is back!

However, the modifications and their sudden roll back has raised several questions in the minds of people all over world. What were they trying to do? Was it just a test for some new codes? Or were the changes taken back just because the Staff thought it was incompetent to combat the minds of tweaking geniuses? Is it over? Or is it just the beginning? Are they really planning something big? These, and many more queries are buzzing like bees in the bonnets of many.

Well, for good or bad, we cant just help it but to find new tweaks for new codes. In fact, Orkut keeps us busy, and we keep 'em! Anyways, at least now we have a hint that if it was a test, the new scripts can be applied once again any day. And perhaps, this time we'll be ready for it.

SOS: Orkut Rebels Again

The Orkut staff has modified its code yet again. This time, scrapping scripts have been targeted, rendering all flooders and scripts useless. All mass-scrapping scripts and softwares have also stopped working. The Auto-Scrapper of TOrkutter has also been affected by the sudden modifications in the script. Users are facing different kind of problems. We have received almost 200 complaints since morning via different modes.
We are working on the new code and are confident enough to come up with a solution very soon. Consequently, however we would like to apologise for the unexpected delay in the release of the 3rd BETA version of TOrkutter which may occur due to this sudden change. But we assure that the new version shall be equipped with the modified and working Auto-Scrapper. We anticipate your cooperation.

Ever felt irritated when you had to navigate to several pages just to find a stupid link in a profile? Not any more! Get all links you would ever need while surfing a profile or a community.

Peep into BETA 3: Part 2

Yesterday I had discussed about the new improved navigation bar of TOrkutter. Now, lets have an insight of another modification in the software.

MODIFIED MENUS

Not only a modification has been made in the navigation bar but also the menus are endowed with the same funky and fresh look. New colorful icons have been added to add a completely new flavor to TOrkutting. The extended edit profile options have been added here as well.

SCRIPT EDITOR

The Script Editor is no new addition to BETA 3. However, it remained almost undiscovered in BETA 2 version. That's why we thought of highlighting it over here. The Script Editor is another cool utility to edit and debug your javascripts easily. To open the Script Editor, just double click in the text area of the Script Runner (the place where you write your scripts in TOrkutter). To close it, just click anywhere on the page. Changes, if any will be automatically saved. The Script Editor gives you a larger and expanded space to edit and debug your javascripts. Thus adding to the fun of Orkutting.

The 3rd BETA version TOrkutter is just around the corner. With so many people waiting to get the latest version of the Best Ever Orkutting Tool, we bring to you the first glimpses of some of the newly added (and some modified) features of TOrkutter BETA 3.

THE IMPROVED NAVIGATION BAR

We felt that the old style of the navigation bar in TOrkutter looked quite boring. So here we have, an all new, funky look for the Orkut navigation bar of TOrkutter. Also we have added an extended menu to the edit profile button that allows to edit the various sections of your Orkut profile directly without the hassle of navigating to each page manually.

The comic graphics of the new navigation bar will freshen up your mood and make your Orkutting even more fun.

Stats Shoot Up for TOrkutter

We had announced yesterday that TOrkutter has crossed a landmark of 3000 successful downloads. Today we proudly announce our user stats, which are soaring high and are crossing new milestones every new day.

However, this is just the beginning! 3000 downloads and an average of 700 unique users everyday, that too in just 1 month ~ that's something worth applaud. All thanks to our users who entrusted us with their faith and love.

TOrkutter Crosses 3000 Downloads Landmark

We are proud to announce that TOrkutter has crossed yet another landmark. TOrkutter successfully completed 3000 downloads, on April 30, 2007. Also, our usage stats are flying quite high. Keep checking our feeds for the official announcement regarding our usage stats.

Auto-Updation Bug Detected

Unfortunately, a bug has been detected in the Auto-Updation feature of TOrkutter. Some of our users complained about TOrkutter, not updating itself. When we studied the code under real testing conditions, we came across a bug in our code. However, all our softwares are well tested by professionals before release, yet we had to release an update to the BETA 2 version of TOrkutter.

Users facing the problem of their application, not being updated automatically, may please download this version. We regret the inconvenience caused.

b@d b0yz Scorer : Login Bug Fixed

As Orkut had strategically modified its code rendering all TOrkut softwares useless, an update for b@d b0yz Scorer is released. Login Bug Fixed.

Orkut reacting against TOrkut

As a strategic move by the Orkut staff, the login code of Orkut is changed intentionally to curb the growing popularity of TOrkutter. An out-of-turn update for BETA 2 version of TOrkutter is released. Login bug fixed.

Those who had the earliar versions may please manually update with the latest version by clicking here. However, if you already have the BETA 2 version, the application will automatically prompt for update.

The 2nd BETA release of TOrkutter is now officially out. The details of updates are:

• Some technical flaws removed.
• List-Count bug in Auto-Scrapper fixed.
• Progress bar added on users' requests.
• Auto-Updation feature added.
• Skins added but not functional.

Now, with the updated version of TOrkutter, you can view the progress of the page loading in your TOrkutter browser. The Auto-Updation feature keeps the worries of updating with the latest version, out of your reach. Just sit back and enjoy your Orkutting or rather TOrkutting experience and let us ensure that you are equipped with latest and the best version of our application. We have also added a feature of customizable skins. However, its still not functional due to some technical problems. But we'll solve them really soon.
